I recently received an official announcement of a meeting of the Superintendent and Future Search Steering Committee this Tuesday, 9/17, from 5:30--7:00 p.m. in the ORHS Multi-Purpose Room.
According to the announcement, the Superintendent and the Committee "will share introductions and goals related to finalizing the strategic plan."
While we do not know what the format of the meeting will be – it could involve communications and work between the various subcommittees, for example – I am hopeful there will be an opportunity for public comment on the overall document as well as the sub-sections. At the very least, it will be a good chance for people who were at the April Future Search event to check in on progress toward translating those ideas into clear and actionable goals.
